The Turks & Caicos Islands is a British Overseas Territory (B.O.T), formally referred to as a British Dependent Territory. This status is similar in some regard to the French Overseas Department.

The Islands’ theme is “Beautiful By Nature” and it is indeed so, by far. The Islands are surrounded by crystal clear aquamarine waters, rich in an array of marine life. Pink flamingoes, rock iguanas and other interesting wild life are some of nature’s best scenes you will enjoy. The endless dive sites are simply gorgeous. Miles upon miles of pristine white sandy beaches adorn the Islands. The easterly trade winds act as a coolant to its year round tropical climate. The sun always shines in TCI.

Apart from the its natural beauty, it is equally important to note that the Islands are politically stable, the local currency is the US Dollar, taxation is virtually nonexistent, the investment climate is inviting and various employment opportunities are available. The real estate market is thriving. Hotel and condominium developments are constantly on the rise. Almost every day there is a ground breaking for some lucrative project. All these wonderful features and others exist in a very peaceful, tranquil and restful environment. The local crime is surprisingly very low.

The people are among the friendliest in the world. The native language is English, however the resident population is made up of people from all parts of the world.
